Plan B is one of South London’s best kept secrets and a staple for the area’s clubbing for almost nine years. Since the re-launch of the club in 2009 (which included fitting a state of the art, no expense spared Funktion 1 sound system in both rooms) Plan B has put on a succession of high quality events, featuring the outputs of emerging underground talent and international DJs alike, offering a unique space for clubbing in Brixton.
From now on Saturdays at Plan B will become a platform for innovative and retrospective forms of house, techno, disco and other electronics.
Launching on Saturday 18th September 2010, in conjunction with FACT Magazine, we welcome a rare set from Detroit producer and disco aficionado Moodymann (this will be his only London date until early 2011) and accompanying him, the jewel in Eglo Records’ crown – Floating Points. Community promises to redefine the scene in Brixton and South London as a whole with a fresh, in-house perspective on how Saturdays nights in one of the most musically rich and forward thinking cities in the world, should sound like.
We are aiming to reunite the best homegrown talent in South London, whilst accommodating some of the world’s finest DJs, bringing about a return of the underground spirit and affinity for the area that has been so strong in the past.
Forthcoming guests include the likes of Jamie Jones, Todd Terje, Sebo K and Greg Wilson, with lots more to be announced in the coming weeks and months!

Hot on the heals of their much talked about loft party at the Light Bar in Shoreditch, Tribe make the move across town to West London for the first time for a carnival after party to remember at the Notting Hill Arts Club!
The carnival is always full of amazing color, sights, sounds and we want to bring people together here in London to celebrate the end of carnival in style with some great deep soulful afro house sounds, bringing our only unique TRIBE flavour to proceedings.
Joining our Tribe residents Zepherin Saint and Matt L-S spinning the deep soulful afro vibes as the sun goes down will be Timmy Regisford from Shelter in New York. For over a decade, Timmy has garnered admiration and respect globally with his brand of ballsy, soulful dance music, which places the emphasis on eclecticism rather than the predictable and the linear. His DJ sets are soulful and deep, while he isn’t afraid to venture into the realms of more experimental rhythms. Many New Yorkers still pay homage to the man every Sunday morning at his Area Code residency which replaced his infamous Shelter party last year.
As MCA Records A&R Director he developed artists such Loose Ends, Colonel Abrams, Guy and Eric B & Rakim to name a few and he has had a big hand in remixing the exciting Peven Everett ‘Beyond The Universe’ album project that Tribe Records will be releasing this summer and we look forward to welcoming him back to Tribe!

Tribe are back with another summer event but this time we venture back South of the river, for our annual Together terrace party, taking place on the very much talked about roof terrace at the Dex Club in Brixton! Together was one of most talked about parties last year with over 400 people in attendence as the sun stayed out for us all day as we got down to delicious deep soulful sounds served up from some of the best djs around including Zepherin Saint from Tribe, Phil Asher from restless soul and Rap Saunders from Soul Mates.
Together is where like-minded promoters and producers in the scene get together for one afternoon to play great soulful music but not only that but also to show case their latest releases in incredible surroundings on a lovely summer’s day and guess what?
