…a title stolen from a compilation LP from the 80’s on ZE records. A name even more relevant now than it was then, as dance floor sound creators transform, sample & re-model the music of the past into the music of the future. Are we not DJ’ s? We are mutants! Music & concept directors: Rhythm Doctor & Raul Saaremets. Born from the smoldering ashes of the monthly ‘House Of Rhythm’ parties that were held in the once hip Club Hollywood (between Sept 96 & April 97), MD was bound for success. All the Rhythm Doctor & Raul needed was a suitable venue. The Von Krahl theatre & bar provided such a site. In December 1997 MD was launched as a monthly 2/3 room extravaganza. Music policy: deep, funky, soulful house, drum & bass, ´real´ techno, disco, jazz, latin, hip-hop & reggae. International Guest DJ’s spinned alongside resident DJ’s, the Rhythm Doctor & Raul Saaremets. Attracting the most creative & open minded party people in Estonia, the vibe was always 100% positive! The atmosphere was described by Conrad from Idjut Boys as ´righteous!´

Mutant Disco moved to Club Privé in summer of 2003. As always it has been the musical programming at MD is of the highest quality, presented by DJ’s & performers who can entertain & touch the soul at the same time.

Defected In The House
every second friday of the month.

Defected is one of the most important record labels in house music.Being relatively young at the age of four years, it has released several widely popular tracks. First single was Soulsearchers “Can`t Get Enough”, that was followed by Armand Van Helden “You Don`t Know Me”, Masters At Work “To Be In Love”, Paul Johnson “Get Get Down” and OnePhatDeeva “In And Out Of My Life”. It has also released in the year 2001 a superhit “Another Chance” from Roger Sanchez-the man who rocked in Tallinn at the Sun Dance Music Festival..The last hits from Defected were Sandy Rivera`s “Changes” and “I Can`t Stop”. Among estonians Defected has gained special attention in the previous year. The reason for that is Rulers Of The Deep, who has released a couple of singles and remixes exactly under this record label. In fact the growing success of Defected ROTD is the favour of Defected owner Simon Dunmore.He and many Defected performers have been visiting us frequently. For the confirmation of good friendship Defected arrives with its best performers and freshest material to Tallinn again.By the way Defected starts as the first record label in Estonia regular club nights. Those who can`t come at some reasons, have the possibility to follow the night via Raadio 2.
