Level 1 your host with the absolute most CLF / Bussey Head honcho JAZZHEADCHRONIC delivering another blistering 5 hr set of eclectic anthemic uplifting funk, soul, rare groove, latin and a whole lotta Disco, Disco and more Disco. Donna Summer to Barry White via Chic, KC & The Sunshine Band, Loretta Holloway and The Gap Band. The immense sounds of Isaac Hayes Love Unlimited & cutting edge Salsoul Orchestraâ€™s explored alongside the works of Sister Sledge, Grace Jones, Evelyn â€œChampagneâ€ King, Diana Ross, The Bee Gees, Sylvester, the list goes on and on and on.
The history of arguably the worldwide dance-floors sexiest ever sound [aka DISCO] explored, exposed and seriously delivered all night long. Originals to remixes and new interpretations by the likes of Dimitri From Paris, John Morales & Joey Negro dropped hard loud and very direct to the dance floor.
The spirit of the Disco age further explored by special guest DJ YOUNG PULSE whoâ€™ll be joining the Jazzhead on level 1. DJ Young Pulse A French DJ, producer, remixer and sound engineer from Paris, recognized for his authentic style mixing disco, nu-disco and house. The quality of his productions, reworks and remixes supported and played by international artists such as The Reflex, Opolopo, Greg Wilson, Jay Negron, Lay Far and Little Louie Vega, putting him among the top of the disco and nu-disco remixers world wide today. Gonna be a hot one!
Then on level 2 the men with a plan and an un-insurable priceless record collection – Legendary DJâ€™s Mssrs SNOWBOY and DEAN RUDLAND mine the crates for more vintage 45s for an epic journey through the land of the rare groove – delivering some of the finest Funk ever etched on Vinyl large, loud and very direct to the dance floor.
On level 3 too damn hot SLST residents – Mukatsuku records Founder, the outstanding NIK WESTON and long standing DJ Partner and bad ass DJ HUW 72 will be taking you on another sublime gloablistic Safari across planet groove. Hunting down the tunes that matter and setting em on yehs. Beautifully savagely. Owwwww.
The South London Soul Train 4 floor line up completed by the new Basement Soul Bowl residents – First Word Founder GILLA & SCRIMSHIRE [Wah Wah 45s]. Soul, the whole soul and nothing but the soul on 45 + Moh. Tunes to make you go DAMN! So you know Basement also has a chill out area – A place to catch youâ€™re breath between marathon stints on the dance floor. And with 4 dancefloors pumping all night long – believe us, you gonna need it.
As always, all floors taking all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove Nâ€™ Stax, Motown to Club Classics and Anthems.
However, Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this ones for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.
