Soul heaven returns to the capital at this premier location of Electric Brixton for a series of parties. We launch our new residency with two legends Louie Vega & Paul “trouble†Anderson for what promises to be a night of true dance music.
For many of us Paul “trouble†was at the beginning of our adventure into club music. People travelled far and wide for his seminal nights at The Loft throughout the nineties & at a time before digital down load, where music was a lot harder to access, tape recordings were passed around of his off the hook radio shows on kiss FM.
Louie Vega & Paul “Trouble†have been friends since 1989. They were on the bill together for the early Sunrise and Energy events which heralded the beginning of the house era in London, then later Louie had guest spots at Paul’s HQ Loft Parties among weekly guest such as Loleatta Holloway, Jean Carne, Jocelyn Brown, Masters at Work, Tony Humphries, Rosie Gaines, Michael Watford, Darryl Pandy and Barbara Tucker to name but a few . Louie says “Paul Trouble is one of the few pioneers of house music that truly inspired me to make some of the Maw sounds I had played on keyboards at that time. His sound was deep, soulful and had a real ness to it that touched anyone in whichever room he played in, one of my Londontown heroes”. Soul heaven looks forward to bringing two of our all time heroes together for a night of great dance music.
Louie Vega, just coming off five successful sell out events at the Miami Winter Music conference is geared up to play a set filled with hot new sounds fresh from the dance floor. We are also proud to announce Soul heaven and executive producer Louie vega introduce at the party Boddhi Satvas new album entitled invocation out on BBE.
In the words of Paul himself “A house is where you live & a garage is where you park your car’! So come on down to be part of this very special night where the dance ritual meets the advance dance for what promises to be a great party.

Deep meets disco as Defected champions house music’s past and present
French maestro Dimitri From Paris runs the 103 while Yoruba master Osunlade and man-of-the-moment Noir take control of the Box.
Not forgetting where it all began however we’ve also dedicated an entire room to house music’s original incarnation, with Dimitri From Paris proudly flying the disco flag alongside Defected founder Simon Dunmore.
DIMITRI FROM PARIS
A multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer, DJ, painter, photographer and more, Osunlade is an artist in the truest possible sense of the word. His 2011 artist album Pyrography was received positively across the board and spawned one the biggest house records of the year in ‘Envision’. A DJ set from Osunlade is a rare event, and one that once experienced is never forgotten. Defected will shortly be releasing Osunlade In The House, and this event will serve as a preview for that landmark mix.
Warming up the Box for Osunlade will be Noir; DJ, producer and label owner who also had a profound influence on the club landscape of 2011. The Solomun remix of his track with Noir ‘Around’ was arguably the most-loved remix of the year, and recent releases on Noir Music from Larse and Hollis P Monroe (Remixes) as well as his mix for Defected In The House Miami ’12 have proved his musical ear beyond any doubt.

Once again the last Tempo in Feb was simply brilliant. DJ Andy Ward flew in from the vocal Booth HQ in Spain and duly rocked our dance floor, thanks to him and Smitten’s resident and partner Chris Andes for two superb sets.
As a very special treat April sees the sublime Sean McCabe (Soul Heaven Records, King St. Records) gracing the Tempo decks and what a party it promises to be. We also welcome Brickhouse resident and LACED Head Honcho PEJ who will be bringing his unique blend of deep soulful and classic house music!
Tempo has been growing and growing since it’s inception in Feb last year and now boasts a room full of House Heads doing their thing every time we hit the Brickhouse. The underlying feelings at Tempo are friendship and love for house music and when you see our dance floor you can’t help but smile. Pure love and knowledge for the music!
We have witnessed Sean’s sets up and down the country and every time we go away feeling completely satisfied and heavy-legged from grooving all night to his wonderful set.
Sean brings a true house sound with his productions and that shines through in his sets he plays what he loves and also what influences his productions, pure house music from a pure house music spirit and the future of our music.
Do not miss this DJ in this venue with these party people – it’s gonna be something very special.
